George LaRocco, MD, is a board-certified internist and recently opened a primary care office at the new St. Joseph Health Park at Hereford which opens mid-January. A member of St. Joseph’s medical staff
since 1976, Dr. LaRocco had a long-time medical practice in Towson but most recently served as the
medical director at Northrop Grumman Corporation.
“I’m excited to return to primary care as a way to give back to the community. It’s like coming home. The Hereford area really needs physicians,” says Dr. LaRocco, who lives in that area. He describes his philosophy of care as “getting to know patients and making them comfortable with their care. I want to bring that warm, personal touch to the practice of medicine.”
Dr. LaRocco received his medical degree from Loyola Stritch in Maywood, Illinois, and completed his medical internship and residency training at Maryland General Hospital.
